Booking Terms & Conditions
*** Rates are subject to change without prior notice.
*** Minimum 2 night stay on weekends i.e. Friday, Saturday and Sunday
*** R500 Breakage deposit upfront (Refunds on departure once apartment has been checked)
*** 50 % deposit to secure booking balance on confirmation
Rates include the following:
Fully-furnished and equipped apartment. Spare linen and towels provided.
Welcome pack which includes tea, coffee, sugar, milk, toilet paper and bath soap.
Jozi Apartments Bookings Confirmations
A 50% confirmation fee is required in order to secure any accommodation booking with Jozi Apartments. The full amount is due by the Client and shall be payable not less than 7 days prior to the date of arrival. If the full amount is not received, Jozi Apartments shall be entitled in its discretion to treat the reservation as cancelled, and consequently to forfeit such part of the advance payment as determined solely by Jozi Apartments. Bookings are only confirmed once Jozi Apartments has received the 50% deposit and the client has received a booking confirmation form from us. Please note that until such time as this confirmation has been confirmed, the booking will be held as a provisional reservation and may be cancelled without notice.
Should the booking fall within the 7 day period, then full payment is required to confirm booking.
A breakage deposit of R500.00 is payable at the same time of full amount being paid. This will be returned to the client only once Jozi apartments have had a full inspection of the property and found there to be no damages.
Rates are based per apartment per night – Jozi Apartments reserves the right to allocate guest to certain apartments at their discretion.
In the event of premature departure we may charge for the full original booking. Cancellation 0 – 14 days before date of arrival, or no-show – visitor forfeits 100% of the money paid. Cancellation 15 – 28 days before date of arrival – visitor forfeits 75% of deposit paid or 25% of full quote value (whichever greater). Cancellation 29+ days before date of arrival – visitor forfeits 50% of deposit paid or 25% of full quote value (whichever greater).
Check-in and Check-out at Jozi Apartments
Check-in is from 12:30-6pm on weekdays and until 1pm Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. It is very important to note that check-in is by appointment only as we don’t have a reception area at Jozi (we do this to keep costs down which keeps our rates as low as possible). Please arrange your check-in time with the owner of the Jozi Apartments that you are staying in at least one day prior to arrival. Late arrivals are by prior arrangement only and carry a charge of R250.
KEYS WILL NOT BE LEFT AT SECURITY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES
Check-out is at 10am.
Any requests for later check-outs must be directed to the owner of the particular Jozi Apartments who will determine if this is possible based on apartment availability. (Please note that in some cases cleaners may need access from 08:30 on departure day). In the case of a late check-out which has not been arranged with Jozi Apartments, guests will be charged one day’s accommodation.
Jozi Apartments are strictly non-smoking units.
Any guest found to have been smoking in the apartments will immediately forfeit their breakage deposit.
Jozi Apartments are strictly no pets allowed.
Jozi Apartments does not accept any liability for loss of or damage to any valuables or property belonging to guests or their visitors. It is therefore the sole responsibility of all guests to make arrangements for adequate insurance coverage on all valuable items prior to arrival at Jozi Apartments. This includes but is not limited to, photographic equipment, laptops or other electronic devices, jewellery, cash and vehicles.
Jozi Apartments offers free Wi-Fi for Units 1A, 3A and 3B only.
We provide all our guest staying in these units with free wireless Internet Access, ask for the access key when you check-in.
The Free Wireless Internet Access is provided with the expectation that the guests will utilize this service in a lawful, professional and responsible manner.
The service is not intended for high volume data transfers, especially sustained high volume data transfers, video conferencing, Peer 2 Peer downloads etc.
The Wi-Fi access key is provided on check-in.
Although Jozi Apartments will use its best endeavours to have the service available at all times, Jozi Apartments does not guarantee the availability of the service and shall not be liable in any manner whatsoever in respect of any loss or damages caused by, or arising from, the unavailability of, or any interruption in the service for any reason whatsoever.
This Free Internet Access offer can be amended or withdrawn in full or partially at the sole discretion of Jozi Apartments.
A very limited technical support can be offered in regards to connectivity only, enquire at time of check-in for details. We are not responsibility for your gadgets failure to connect to our Wi-Fi.
Sectional Title & Body Corporate
It is recorded that Jozi Apartments Royal View Units are part of a Sectional Titles Scheme and that the buildings and land are controlled managed and administered subject to the provisions of the Sectional Titles Act 1986 by means of rules for the control, management administration use and enjoyment of sections and the common property. It is accordingly agreed that:
(i) Notwithstanding the provision of the Jozi Apartments contract/terms and conditions (lease), the premises shall mean the unit consisting of section No131, 94, 61, 59, 58 and 16 and its share in the common property as shown and more fully described on sectional plan in the Body Corporate known as ROYAL VIEW.
(ii) Without prejudice to the provisions of the Jozi Apartments contract/terms and conditions (lease), the guest/s (Lessees’) right and use and enjoyment of the premises are subject to the provisions of the Sectional Titles Act 1986, as amended, the regulations promulgated there under, the Rules of the Body Corporate and any Rules of Conduct in force from time to time, all of which are hereby under mutatis mutandis for the provisions thereof.
(iii) Any breach by the guest/s (Lessee) of any of the provisions of the Sectional Titles Act of 1986, as amended, the regulations promulgated there under, the Rules and Rules of Conduct shall be breach of the contract/terms and conditions (Lease).”
General Indemnity for Jozi Apartments
Whilst every care has been taken by Jozi Apartments to ensure the safety of guests and their possessions whilst enjoying our accommodation, Jozi Apartments does not accept any liability in the event that any loss or damage to persons or property is experienced by a guest.
Loss or Damage to Jozi Apartments
Should Jozi Apartments suffer any loss or damage as a result of an act or omission by a guest or visitor of a guest, the guest will remain liable for full reimbursement of such loss or damage incurred and will be billed accordingly.
Right of Admission Reserved
Jozi Apartments at all times reserves the full right of admission and accepts no liability for any loss or damage that may result from the legal and reasonable exercising of such rights.
Should Jozi Apartments at any time need to exercise this right, no reimbursements or refunds will be made in this regard.
Guest/s attends this establishment at their own risk.
The proprietor , it’s agent/s and or its employee/s ( “the Proprietor” ) shall not be liable for, and the guest/s herby waive/s and abandon any claims of whatever nature including but not limited to that for theft, injury, loss or damage of whatever nature, against the Proprietor, whether arising from the Proprietor’s default , negligence or otherwise.
The guest/s, in addition to the aforesaid, hereby indemnify the Proprietor against any claims which may arise from whatever nature, whether arising from the Proprietor’s default, negligence or otherwise.
